Andrew Vasquez's "Eagle's Journey," Hawk Henries' "First Flight," and R. Carlos Nakai and William Eaton's "Covenants Shared" are among the highlights of this collection,
which fares best on simple, spare tracks such as William Guitierrez's "Song for Grandfather."

Though this album weighs as slightly more contemporary than traditional, fans of both kinds of Native American music will find something to appreciate in Tribal Winds.
